So I recently watched I Come with the Rain, the last movie the same director did, and while it was kind of unique and the cinematography and music direction was really well done, the movie itself was hyper violent and highly unsettling... and from what I've heard, his previous movies have been like that too. So it makes me wonder how that will reflect on Norwegian Wood. Anyone have any experiences with his other movies and have thoughts?
I've watched Cyclo which was a bit violent, but I don't think violence in previous films should weigh in on this one. Sai Yoichi directed the ultra violent Blood and Bones and the movie Quill about a seeing eye dog.
